Robin Birkett: Dear Blog Editor Firstly my condolences on behalf of your family for choosing your name. Then, as a sailing 'widow' having taken my wife Ruth to London Heathrow this morning (together with Norman Halstead and Jean Simmons) can I expect up-to-date on-line results as I slog away at work wishing I was there too? I'll be logging on each morning and with our 5 hour time difference hope to see that the Brits are making a good account of themselves. All the best for a great championship - wish I was there. Robin. Dear Robin, Actually I was quite lucky my parents had the fore sight to name me "blog" because in 1974 there was no such thing as a blog. But 33 years later I am in fact a blog editor so WOW!!
