Barney Harris: Weather Outlook Appears that we will have solid pressure for the last two days of this event. Low teens fore casted for Thursday and mid to upper teens for the finale on Friday. Lets hope for some "T" courses on Friday. Chesapeake forecast issued 10/10/2007 at 7:00 AM by meteorologist Benjamin Miller Modest NW winds tomorrow. Moderate and breezy W/NW winds Friday. Lighter Saturday. A closed low pressure system tracking up the East Coast will be the main influence for the region through Saturday. As the system begins to develop tomorrow, NW winds should remain fairly mild. With gradients tightening and the system picking up momentum early Friday, W/NW winds look to become moderately strong and breezy. As the system pushes farther north Saturday, W/NW winds look to tail off. Thursday: Modest NW winds peaking in the low to mid teens across the Chesapeake Bay. Reaching mid teens with higher gusts across the Delmarva peninsula. Friday: Moderate and breezy W/NW winds reaching mid to upper teens through the morning across the Chesapeake with an afternoon fade. Reaching the upper teens to low 20's with higher gusts early across the Delmarva with a mid-afternoon fade. |
