NOTICE OF REGATTA
for the
2005 Albacore North American Championships
Held in Conjunction with the Governor's Cup Regatta

ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY: All boats must be helmed by a full member of the respective Class Association.
SCHEDULE: Approximately 7 races will be sailed - more if conditions and time permit. The exact number of races may be sailed on any day is at the discretion of the race committee. The warning signal for the first race on each day is scheduled as indicated below.

RULES: The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005 - 2008, together with prescriptions of the US Sailing, Albacore Class rules, and the sailing instructions to be issued at registration.
COURSE: Olympic or other to be described in the Sailing Instructions
FEES: The entry fee, in US dollars, is $75. Registration fee includes Saturday dinner and beer, Sunday beer and munchies, and prizes. Non USS or other national authority members must pay a $5 surcharge.
SAFETY: Each boat must carry a towline of at least 30 feet length and 1/4 inch thickness.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Sailing instructions will be available at registration.
SCORING: The low point system of Appendix A of the racing will apply. The completion of at least one race shall constitute a series. One drop race will be allowed if five or more races are sailed.
LAUNCHING: Beach or Ramp.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Free housing is available for ALL out of towners.
